If you dont see any conflict of interest in this then you are stupid or you are a criminal. No developed country will allow this thievery to go unpunished. Ask your wife, who is on social assistance in Canada if the kind of behaviour you are glorifying will be tolerated in her adopted country. Recently the mayor of Toronto was thrown out of office because of a conflict of interest. His crime? He used the city's letterhead to solicit for funds to support his charitable organization which helps needy kids. He did not personally benefit from this event. He raised $3500 from this solicitation but is being kicked out of office. I weep for Ghana because of statements like this. Meanwhile, 60% of our budget is donor funded.

I am shocked and really disturbed about the future of our beloved Ghana.
Where are our learned interllectuals,Lawers?Where are the The Pratts and Baakos?
Is the Judiciary admitting that this sucker who goes by the name General Mosquto should not be brouhgt to court and prosecuted for "conflict of interest" on the Buem dam Project?I have given the Government upto the end of January to take legal action against Mosquito if not I will get the World Bank involved.This man should not think that we are in the PNDC era when all attrocities and crimes were committed by him and Associates.This MF should step down from the his current position as the General Secretary of our Party NDC.Please.the President should act now.

Clearly, ETHICS as a function and factor of good political and corporate governance is sadly, lost on General Mosquito. In some jurisdictions, if one works for a company, you are asked to disclose if you have other business interests which would conflict with the business interests of the company and as such create a conflict of interest situation. Failure to disclose this, if you are found to be culpable, you are terminated immediately. General Mosquito's stance and by virtue of his position on the board, is A CONFLICT OF INTEREST SITUATION. However, since ETHICS is not a very strong attribute of the NDC as a party, this shouldn't come as a surprise. I am sure they would be willing to cite examples in the NPP for political equalization. But that's what progress is about. You move from point a to b to c, and not prance around at point b and sometimes go back to point a, just to justify a situation which is clearly, unacceptable.
