It was June 30, 1982 and the gangster-killer regime of the NDC, which had imposed a curfew on Ghanaians, decided to extend their killing spree to doorsteps of the Judiciary.

Mrs. Justice Cecelia Koranteng Addo, who was breast-feeding her baby then, together with Justices Kwadwo Adjei Agyepong, Poku Sarkodie and Major Sam Acquah were abducted by members of the NDC in the Ghana Armed Forces and sent to the Bundase Military range and executed them in cold blood.

As if that was not enough, they then poured petrol on the corpses and burnt them.

But the gods of Maaame Ghana, who decided the evil regime of the NDC should not be allowed hide this barbaric and insane act, opened up the skies and poured millions of gallons of rainwater on the charred bodies to preserve them.

Having killed those 3 judges for fun, many a Ghanaian thought the gangster-killer entity called "Citizen NDC", would be content with their hunger for the blood of Ghanaian Judges.

Decades later, we heard Dr.Kwabena Adjei, chairman of the NDC, telling Ghanaians and the Judiciary that, “If they do not clean their act, we shall clean it for them. There are several ways of killing a cat ’.

And now we are hearing a member of the "Citizen NDC" legal team,Chris Ackumey, telling Justice Dotse to deny his membership of the NPP .

Chris Ackumey and his fellow foolsoldiers went on the airwaves to tell Ghanaians that Justice Dotse was once a constituency chairman of the NPP in the Volta Region.

When the honourable Justice came out and denied that lie and called on them to prove their stinking lie, they are now changing the goal posts by calling on the honourable to deny his membership of the NPP and confirm his membership of the NDC.

Is any Ghanaian not belonging to the NDC banned from working in the civil or public service ?

Why is Chris Ackumey and his fellow foolsoldiers not calling on Afari Gyan and his officials of the Electoral Commission, who were all selected by the NDC to man that outfit,to deny his membership of the NDC ?

These gangster-killers and their foolsoldiers in Ghana's politics should stop terrorizing our Judiciary.

Enough is enough.

Ghana belongs to all Ghanaians irrespective of his/her political colour.

You DON'T have to like Nana Addo, but insulting him will not help your position either, because people who look up to him ( and a lot of people do), will naturally attack you back.

Reserve some decorum for yourself by engaging in issues rather than insults. Don't tell me you are lacking in reasoning so much so that you can ONLY insult. For example,was Justice Atuguba that NPP was trying to remove from the panel because he is related or have a relation in the NDC not one of the Judges that voted against Tsatsu Tsikata's challenge to constitutionality of the Fast Track court during the Kufour regime,did he forget his loyalty to the NDC at that time before voting against a leading member of the NDC or we so soon forget the past?

NPP has no case that any Judge irrespective of party affiliation will rule to make Akuffo Addo the serial loser a president,nobody will do that so there is no need for us to be worried about the Judges'party affiliation,the Judges will not ignore the evidence and make Akuffo Addo president putting Ghana in chaos.

If he has credible evidence that the Justice was a card bearing member of NPP, he should provide the evidence and stop making baseless accusation. Even if he was once a card bearing member that alone is not sufficient to recuse himself unless it can be shown that he would be bias.

entirely true. Al Gore decided to concede after the Supreme Court upheld the argument put by Bush's team that the recount was undemocratic because it used varying means state wide. They agreed that using different means to determine the intention of voters was not right but if the courts in Florida can prescribe one rule for recount then the exercise could go on. Al Gore who was behind in the count but gaining ground seeing that the whole process would be protracted and make the US which was becoming a laughing stock for the famous - 'hang and pregnant chads' threw in the towel. He could well have gone to ask the Florida court to do what the Supreme Court said if he and the Democrats had the stomach for it.

In the case of Ghana the no verification no vote non-compliance could be seen as having a similar principle.

I thought the first charge was that Justice Dotse was once upon a time the chairman of the Volta Regional branch of the NPP. The NPP was formed only 20 years or so ago, so it should not be difficult to prove that - find out the names of all Volta Chairmen of the NPP since 1992, and justo, charge no 1 can be disposed of. Then we can reframe the charge and ask whether Justice Dotse is or ever was a card holder of the NPP.
We tend to confuse issues by introducing unnecessary joinders, just as the NDC is trying to do with the challenge on the election results. This case which took just one day's sitting by the SC to hear the arguments for and against will require a hooping 1 week for the judges to come out with a decision. One would shudder to think what is going to happen to the real election fraud case! Especially so when one respondent is hoping to call 4800 witnesses! God save Ghana.

If we believe that there is speration of powers, why should the president appoint the chief Justice and other Justices of the supreme court. these justices will never judge issues based on their independent mind, they will certainly judge based on their master's resquest. A clear example is Tsatsu vs State. NPP believe they can overturned the election results in the supreme court because they've appointed most of the justices in the supreme. They may succeed in doing so, but the repercussions are great. when there is not there don't force there to be there.
