Answer: simply to suborn the TUC leadership to embark on a wild cat demonstration calculated to destabilise the nation!!! NPP, Godspeed to your devilish intentions.

Why will they seek relief in the court if they really want to undermine its integrity as you claim? Please give us a break

Your suggestion of a "conspiracy theory" or hidden agenda of the NPP in this process is interesting. However to be fair to the petitioners, their suit is predicated not on the 0.5% or 1000 votes rule that mandates recounts etc. but rather that the 3% margin and 350,000 plus votes difference were obtained by FRAUD. It is ONLY FOR THESE reasons that i believe most democrats in Ghana supported their call for redress which you also alluded to.
However I tend to agree with you that the motive for their approaches, utterances, actions of their surrogates, so-called "militant patriots"; and their own attempt to SUBVERT the very same process and the highest court of the land they called for in the first place brings their REAL MOTIVES into question hence your concerns which I share.

This is rather far fetched to ascribe this as an attempt to destabilize the country. Your vivid imagination amazes me. If this is senseless attack the Supreme Court will throw it out in due course. We will wait and see.

I expect so called intellectuals to be to true facts and not sentiments. Assuming without admitting that the NPP indeed want to destabilize the country as you try so hard to paint, wouldn't that have been easier the very moment NPP supporters took to the streets to demonstrate. That would have been the point where Nana could have used to destabilize the country.
But instead, Nana Addo showed great leadership, met the teaming supporters at their base and instead admonished them to be law abiding.
How then can any MBA holder turn round and suggest without any element of proof that indedd the NPP wants to destabilize the country. I cannot by any stretch of imagination think that a party that claims that the election has been rigged, resort to constitutional order (instead of street agitations which is legal anyway) to challenge elections results be equated to destabilizing a country.
The problem of this country is that people who fed fact on national resources to educate themselves at the expense of hard working farmers are the very ones who cannot speak the truth. They cannot think beyond their stomachs and would therefore do anything just to satisfy their personal entitlements at the expense of the whole nation.
Otherwise what accounts for such baseless write-up from an uninformed person parading as MBA holder just for his personal gratification and self importance.
Mustapha, or whatever your name is, if you decide to put pen to paper, think about Ghana and not the NDC. Ghana is bigger than the NDC and Mahama for that matter.

Why should your conclusion differ from your premise:
Now look at the inconsistencies here
And I quote:
".. In fact, the essence of a democracy is the freedom to question our government. It is healthy and shows our people and the world that we are not afraid of dissent and that we question that which we believe to be unfair..."
And then:
"..What is happening in the name of fairness and transparency is an activity apparently designed to undermine the stability and the credibility of the government of Ghana..."
What is happening? Has any of them taken uo a gun and shot somebody?
All that their attorneys did was to 'looking before you leaping'
because life is dynamic.
"..And once bitten, twice shy." because they know the type of people they are dealing with.
I was, for the second time, thinking that one was going to read 'wisdom' but rather,I was very shocked for reading such stupidity! Faulty reasoning emanating from stupid assumptions!
