Come to think of it, there can't be anything like father-for-all. How can you force yourself on a child who vehemently denies you? You should not maltreat that child, but it would be fool-hardy to treat that child like any of your loyal children. In fact he will take advantage of your denial of the fact to damage you. And that is what happened to Prof Mills. If JM wants to repeat this mistake, over to him.

Why are these religious leaders always intruding into national affairs? What makes them competent to address political, economic and social affairs of Ghana? What has the Koran got to do with Ghanaian government and so too the Bible?
Ghana is not an Islamic nation nor a Christian nation. It is a democratic republic inhabited by some Christians and Muslims. These men, just because they can interprete foreign or alien religious books and lead rituals of foreign religions, SHOULD NOT SEE THEMSELVES AS HAVING AN SPECIAL READING OR UNDERSTANDING OF GHANAIANS. They must limit themselves to their followers and mosques and churches.
Ghana's freedom, justice and peace are not derived from the Koran nor the Bible but from the constitution and the will and fortitude of Ghanaians. These are the first and most important values of our nation.
Give Ghanaians freedom, justice and peace first, then they can talk about Mohammed or Jesus or whatever. The nation has no need for sectarian religious conflicts. Traditional African religious beliefs never claim their way is the only way and never use war, jihad nor crusade, "onward christian soldiers" to prove their god is the greatest.
African traditional religious beliefs always guaranteed religious freedom and that is why Islam and Christianity could flourish in Ghana and Africa in general. If Christians have their way, they will take that freedom away claiming all other religions are not the way are even devilish. If Muslims have their way, they will declare jihad, as they already call all non-Muslims infidel,and take away Ghanaian religious freedom.
Religious leaders have little to offer Ghana beyond interpreting holy books of the beliefs and instructing their followers. They should stay out of nation affairs, preach in mosques and churches, organize pilgrimages to sites of their foreign-alien religions and leave the rest of Ghanaian to live their lives in FREEDOM, JUSTICE and PEACE!!

my concern is what measures are there in place to moniter the level at which horn speakers on tops of the tower be. This is my great concern as there is one in my community and its execivily loud at zenu back of the market.
