For far too long a few people think they are the ones who put a government into office because they went out campaingning or whatever. Let it be known to them that if Ghanaians were to vote for the NDC based on the activities of these individuals the NDC would have lost the elctions hands down. Ghanaians voted for the NDC despite the unruly behaviour and insulting words of these so-called foot soldiers and hangers-on who brought the Mills administration into disrepute.

Frankly, it was the greater 'evil' of the NPP winning that got voters to queue for hours to vote for NDC and not the activities of these so-called footsoldiers. These guys are not entitled to any greater 'reward' than the voter who got the NDC into power - and we are more than these footsoldiers. If we hadn't voted, the footsoldiers' votes could not have brought NDC into power.

Leave the President alone to appoint competent people to do the job we mandated him to do.

The notion that people work hard to elect a president so that they get a cabinet position should be reradicated from the minds of those people. Positions should be assigned based on the ability to perform the job by serving the people of the country.The President was elected because those people felt he has a what it takes to lead for a better country. so allow him to use his knowledge and skilss to make that happen. We should not think about getting into a position for personal gains.

But my request is for JJ to help Mr. John Mahama in any possitive way and possible to curb this planned situation and establish authority over the NDC. How can one explain why on earth the President with a huge responsibility on his shoulders cannot be left some breathing space to go with personnel his heart and soul are with to help him deliver! Isn't about ensuring Ghana develops? If a foot-soldier is to be 'rewarded' with ministerial or top political office appointment whether or not they have what it takes to deliver then I tell you honestly we as a nation are in a slippery circus! And the road to better Ghana could be a long convoluted one! And the whole chairman reportedly angry with the President over this? Wow! What a drama so soon!
