70% Ghanaians were unbanked in 2008, so if the figures stand the same, the our economic independence would a bit distance.

Banks do not lose.
Banks make profit to the detriment of their clients.That is one reason people do not put their money at the bank but invest it in what brings them some better or more profit.

The fault is with the Banks. They milk depositors with unreasonable fees and charges but do not pay good interest. In fact some banks do not pay interest if the deposit is 500 cedis or less. The ones who need the banking s
