Rogue Expatriate On the loose

The Nungua Police is squatting on a criminal file of a Danish expatriate who takes delight in abusing the hospitality of Ghanaians by engaging in criminal conducts, and disrespecting the dignity of Ghanaians under the watch of some Police Officers.
The expatriate, a 60 year old Jan Wubbling, whose ten years stay in Ghana has been bedevilled with criminal and stinky social misconducts, in Nungua, where he lives with his 22 year old Ghanaian wife, is alleged to be terrorising the neighbourhood with unlicensed guns and thugs.
Arrested on two occasions for possessing weapons illegally, the Danish man who is under series of investigation including a murder plot, is still walking with his chest out and flouting the nations laws with sheer arrogance and impunity.
Jan Wubbling described by the Dzasetse of Nungua, Nii Botwe Laryea as “a very disrespectful and arrogant Whiteman” is alleged to have all the Police officers at the Nungua Police station in his pocket and therefore does not respect the citizenry.
In a recent incident reported to the Nungua Police, Jan Wubbling and his wife were alleged to have assaulted workers of a government road construction project, in Nungua when they were on duty at the site.
The couple fired gunshots indiscriminately in the air, and chased workers of the construction company (Alnort Ghana Limited) with bulldogs.
Their crime, the Republic learnt, was that, the workers had thrown gravels from on-going excavation into a lawn in their house, which is near the road located opposite African-Royal Hotel at Nungua.
According to Seidu Odonkor, one of the workers who bared the brunt of the couple, told the Republic that, Jan Wubbling confronted them to complain about dumping of sand and gravels, they extracted from an excavation work, they were undertaking in front of his house, which formed part of the construction job they were executing on the road.
The construction work had become necessary, to prevent perennial flooding in the area anytime it rained heavily.
“He ordered us to remove the gravels and dump it on the road, but I told him it would obstruct vehicular movement and that he can discuss the damage with my bosses” siedu continued.
To the dismay of the workers and onlookers Jan Wubbling left and returned with a gun and begun to fire shots indiscriminately in the air; dispersing the workers on duty.
Not content, Mr. Wubbling’s wife called Eunice also came out with a big bulldog, which he unleashed on the workers.
Mr. Wubbling subsequently organised thugs to cover the excavated hole, dug earlier by the workers and beat up the driver of one of the Nungua chiefs who dared to call him to order.
The Republic learnt that, the matter was reported to the police and complaints lodged by the contractor to the Ledzekuku Krowor Assembly, for further advice on the conduct of the expatriate.
However, barely two months after the incident, the police have yet to charge the irresponsible culprit for any offence or even bring him to order.
The Dzasetse of Nungua Nii Laryea who expressed his worries about the behaviour of the expatriate told the Republic, he personally placed a call to the police after receiving notice of the incident.
The contractor, who mentioned his name only as Mr. Nartey, was shocked at the behaviour of the expatriate and wondered what, gave him the nerve and impudence to interrupt the construction work.
When this Reporter made a check at the Nungua Police station, for an update of the case, he was informed by the Station Officer, that the case has been transferred to the Police Headquarters, but checks at the headquarters denied any such case, being brought before them.
