Some chiefs, including the La chiefs, are responsible for many land disputes. Yet, instead of holding them accountable, you are encouraging them to fight the very victims they allegedly defrauded. Stop playing politics with people's suffering!
Any chief who illegally sold or leased land that did not belong to them, along with complicit inspectors and government officials, must face prosecution and refund all money obtained illegally. Everyone involved must be held accountable, not the victims alone.
That is how we end these injustices. However, buyers must also take responsibility by conducting proper due diligence before purchasing land.
