Two (2) questions: 1. were there alternate options for the project and 2. How many homes, businesses and structures are served with power output from the solar project?
Alternate option: the current setup occupies land that could otherwise be used for food production or other developments that could bring about employment. What if rooftops of existing homes and business facility structures were fitted with solar systems and the daily unused extra solar power returned to power producing companies/ECG for sale to others?
What if communities have street lights fed from rooftop solar energy production while maintenance of the system is provided via local tax revenue collections?
