While reclaiming the lands, the guy ganged up with his colleague to do galamsey in a portion of the concession of Wontumi. Now Wontumi is in prison for the galamsey activities in his concession.
● Those galamseyers who did illegal mining in the mining concession of Wontumi also did illegal mining in the Forest Reserve which was on the border of Wontumi concession, destroying timber trees and damaging the land and waterbodies. Fresh case.
