Unity Hall at KNUST, has a design problem, in that the central corridors are dark, damp and poorly ventilated. Most of the bathrooms have no external windows, hence smell from the bathrooms is always in the corridors.

As a former vice-president of this great hall I can only say Prof, your idea, design and construction of this Unity Hall is still the best on all the campuses in Ghana. It is challenge to modern day architecture and civil engineering to design and construct those thick slabs either as floors or stairs to withstand such stresses we tread on for all these years. Thank you and wish that such excellent work will be replicated.
