Where in God's world does this happen??? And Freddy Blay is actually telling us that at the time he was purchasing that beach front land, he didn't see the La Beach Hotel which should have pricked him to ask himself whether where he and his son wanted to site their Polo Beach Club was proper. You see, at times politics makes us so power drunk that we believe we will never loose elections and so feel we can perpetrate wanton illegality. President Mahama, I respectfully urge your government to prioritize the investigation and prosecution of traditional leaders, including La chiefs, who are credibly suspected of involvement in land fraud, unlawful land transactions, bribery, abuse of office, or other land-related offences.
The appropriate law enforcement agencies must conduct thorough, impartial, and independent investigations into allegations of corruption and abuse of traditional authority in land administration. Any individual against whom sufficient admissible evidence exists should be prosecuted in accordance with the law and afforded the right to a fair trial. Those convicted should receive penalties proportionate to their offences.
Furthermore, where evidence establishes grounds for destoolment under applicable customary law and lawful procedures, the appropriate traditional authorities should initiate the relevant proceedings. Criminal liability and customary disciplinary processes must be pursued through their respective lawful channels.
Land-related corruption and disputes have undermined public confidence, threatened property rights, and contributed to avoidable tensions and conflicts in our communities. Traditional status must not confer immunity from accountability, and no individual should be treated as above the law.
President Mahama, make accountability in traditional land administration a central component of your Reset Agenda. Strengthen oversight, enforce existing laws, investigate credible allegations, and ensure that anyone found culpable faces the appropriate legal consequences. Ghana needs transparent land governance, equal application of the law, and lasting justice for affected citizens.
No one should be above the law. Let accountability, due process, and justice prevail.

I am amazed at the fact that all the talking heads on TV and radio stations along with print and digital reporting in Ghana have failed to see the linkages between the moral decline in Ghana much of which have taken place since the rise of multi-party politics, decentralization of government and the practice of Ghana's brand of democracy.
None of the Kwame Nkrumah hateful bunch with the Kyebi political wannabe at its core can point to the sale of government lands and assets to Nkrumah era political figures and the level of state capture that has become the norm since the NPP and NDC became the top brand political parties in Ghana.
Freddy Blay should thank the Christian God that protects Ghana whose mercy has not allowed Ghana to descend into a nation of the poor versus the rich. So while Freddy Blay keeps running his mouth like he has diarrhea of the mouth perhaps he can enlighten Ghanaians by providing us the sources of his wealth from 1985 to date. If he cannot then he should simply shut up now that his cup is at the early stages of overflow.
