The Ayew family are proud of their ancestral town, Paga. They are empowered by Paga. They cherish Paga, a place that motivated them to show leadership in Ghana, Europe, and beyond. The young men with ancestry from Paga have captained the Black Stars, won the Best African Player of the year, won UEFA cup, and European nations league cups.
We watched the Ayew brothers play in colt teams at Kotobabi, Accra, Ghana. Kwame Ayew and Abedi Pele were superstars even at that time. Unsurprisingly, they became recognized world super stars. After performing at the highest level, the brothers, Sola and Kwame Ayew (in retirement) still join Sunday/Monday Stars (Old Players) at Kotobabi. (Until recently, I used to play with the guys at Kotobabi.)
Abedi Pele's children, Rahim, Dede, and Jordan have all played for Black Stars and various top European teams. Globally, the Ayew family is exceptional. Perhaps, there is no family, globally, that has produced as many World class soccer stars as the Ayew family. The young men are well spoken, courteous, religious, and generous. These are ideal young men with leadership skills. Dede led a Ghanaian team to defeat Brazil in the FIFA Under 20 Cup Finals held in Egypt in 2009. We are proud of the Ayew family. There is more greatness to come.
