GHANAWEB HAVE BACKTRACKED ON THEIR OWN REPORT ON 21ST OCTOBER 2017:
This is Ghanaweb’s report on the said conviction of Kwadwo Bamba on Oct. 21 2017. I’m quoting from the 3rd Paragraph:
“The initial charges - conspiracy to assault a public officer and causing unlawful damage - was changed on October 10 to conspiracy to commit a crime by rioting to which they pleaded guilty. Kwadwo Bamba said though the law has dealt with them, it will not deter them from fighting for the NPP. "We shall continue fighting for the NPP",
", he stated, but said he was sad
when the court bond them to be of good behaviour.
"I and my people will prove Ghanaians wrong". He said they will not exhibit good behaviour for only one year, as required by the court, but will be of good behaviour till death”.
My take on the issue: Kwadwo Bambo was convicted of a much lesser crime that doesn’t rise to the level of disqualification. Period!!!!!!
Some of the NDC hoodlums attacked me on this platform for raising the argument. But a lot of legal experts are sounding the same tone as mine today.
The very initial charges of which the Delta Force members were charged doesn’t matter, and a lot of lawyers or legal experts are of the same opinion and not arguing my point. Their initial charges of which they appeared in court that could given them a much more stiffer sentence was later downgraded to a misdemeanor charges after they made a plea deal with the Prosecution team. And what matters is the outcome of the trial. Period!

A charge of "moral turpitude" refers to an act or behavior that "gravely" violates the accepted standards of the community, often involving dishonesty or immoral conduct.
There could be nothing more egregious than entering a court, "manhandling" the sitting judge and freeing an accused. I may be mistaken to believe that the people of Kumasi believe or share the same moral values as the rest of Ghana.
I do not believe this issue of electing Mr. Bamba is a problem of the NPP voter in Kumasi but a very serious NPP problem if in an rush to confirm Dr. Bawumia as the new NPP demigod the party of presumed intellectuals became a party of classroom educated morons who could not read the fine print of their own party constitution.

YOUR DEMIGOD JJ RAWLINGS STAGED A MUTINY BEFORE THE JUNE 4TH COUP! HE ALSO EXECUTED THREE HIGH COURT JUDGES AND PARTIALLY BURNT THEIR BODIES! KWASEATO! COME AGAIN HE IS ALSO SAID TO HAVE EXECUTED THE MILITARY JUDGE WHO WAS PRESIDING OVER HIS TRIAL !
YOUR UNCLE JJ RAWLINGS WAS ALSO COURT MARSHALED BEFORE HIS RISE TO THE THRONE OF INFAMY IN ONCE OUR PEACEFUL COUNTRY, BAMBA IS MORE EDUCATED AND RESPONSIBLE THAN YOUR RAWLINGS BEFORE HE BECAME THE COUP LEADER OF GHANA IF YOU CARE TO KNOW
Your uncle JJ Rawlings was court marshaled for staging a mutiny before his rise to the throne isn’t it? And in the course of the trial his fellow criminals in the military came and released him and drove him to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation premises to make him a leader Ghana, right ? Even Rawlings whose acts aren’t something that’s supposed to be recorded in the annals of the Ghanaian history still enjoys your unblemished support? Isn’t that also factual? You people now consider him your demigod!
Look! Bamba’s actions aren’t anything close to what Rawlings and his wicked Dzelokope mafia visited on Ghanaians for a period of almost two decades. Yet you people aren’t ashamed of his actions but are always making martyrdom out of him!
GYIMIFUO. yesterday you made a reference to my comments as ethnocentric and prejudicial . I don’t know you but since your cowardice is showing by your lack of audacity to display your true identity as I’m doing, I can just by inference tell your background as one of those stupid people from the pedigree who always go around playing the victim card even as their vicious attitude is all manifested within every nuke and cranny of our country! GYIMIFUO come again! All these while I was very careful by engaging you in meaningful conversations until you showed your moronic attitude yesterday! I SHALL RETURN!

How strong is the so called Kojo Bamba. A little boy from my village can speak to Bamba and he will immediately go mad on the street. It’s not about machoism at all. Asides is he going to man all the polling stations in Ghana whilst the Police is available. NPP should give Ghanaians some respite. Ghanaians are thinking of bread and butter issues and how to elect leaders who are not looking ke Ken Ofori Attah, mustapha Hamid , Adu Boahene and the likes

Looking at the names of those Delta Force members who were prosecuted alongside their leader Bamba, a good number of them had Northern names, my brothers why do you lend yourselves to hooliganism so much in Ghana.
The man has been elected no one should temper with the will of the people. The challenge is whether this will work in the interests of his party or not!

He was better and came through the vetting process. If anyone tries to disqualify him, the NPP party is over. Nobody will believe their electoral process again. Nobody can change the will of the people.
The offence was assault on a sitting judge in a court room and damage to court property. Is the NPP trying to say that this is not a serious offence and for that matter Bamba should not have been passed to stand to be elected ...

Bamba has won. Neat and clear. Talkatives can go and nullify the Presidency of Kwame Nkrumah. He won the election while he was in a prison cell. The choice of NPP can't be the concern of NDC/CPP/UP.

Why did the party allowed him pick a form to contest such a position knowing fully he is an ex-convict. The likes of Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela and many African past leaders were ex-convict but became leaders of their country.
Disqualify
The constitution of both npp and Ghana was there and he went through getting and was not disqualified . Leave him alone with these nonsense
nothing will be annulled! so you people should just go and sit somewhere
