Jomo Kenyatta, first president of Kenya was raised by Scottish missionaries. He made a profound statement as follows: "when the white men first came to Africa, they had the Bible and we had the land. They taught us to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened our eyes, they had the land and we had the Bible".
Unfortunately, it appears that for many of us, we have still not opened our eyes; and the likes of Adom Kyei are taking advantage of our blindness.
The woman who professed on television that thanks to Adom Kyei, she had stopped her diabetes and blood pressure medications dropped dead. So have many women in that Asante Akyem area where he has constructed that business which he calls a church.
Just this last new year's eve, that stretch of road from Asankare was chocked past the Pra river all the way into the eastern region because the many buses heading to that church just took over the road leading to the church. Accra-Kumasi travellers were stuck in the same place for hours.
A minister of roads in Ghana has no business encouraging the conman....unless of course he is courting the congregation for votes.
Tomorrow Kenyata was right.

NO ONE MENTIONS THE EXACT PROBLEM.
Does the Church have its sewerage located in the area where the Express Highway passes?
That looks like the probable reason for the persistent failure. If it is, then the liquid waste would make that location moist all the time and render that space unsafe for traffic.
Mere speculation as no one wants to talk about it: The Road Minister. The Road Contractor. The Movement Leader.

Are these men of God really law abiding citizens? There is also a problem with the Light house chapel at Light house Junction at Alhadji. In that area, there are side roads construction going on at the moment. While most of the kiosks or any other structure on the way are pulled down, the Light house Church's gate is at the center of a discussion. The road contractor was to pull the gate down, but the owner of that church made some calls and the contractor was told to hold on. Men of God do you think you are being justified before God with this type of attitude?

After I read this article, I came to conclude that the NDC government is incompetent. First, was a proper land appropriation done? If so, where came from this problem? Secondly, this drainage problem is due to a poorly engineering. Fix it now, or pay later. As for the Church, the Mahama NDC government must pay to relocate them.

The vast area where the church is being developed is tributary to the Accra- Kumasi highway.. This is the reason why the storm water runoff and sedimentation is adversely impacting the highway. In other advanced .countries like US, the developer could not have been allowed to start the construction without submitting his plans for review and permitting by Highways.
The reason is not far fetched. The church development drainage plans could have been designed to include detention ponds etc. to mitigate excessive runoff and sedimentation during and after construction. Secondly the access road to the church should have been designed to ensure traffic safety and free flow of traffic along the Accra-Kumasi highway.
