At this point he the solicitor had finished with SIC life. Matter close. Unfortunately, when SIC was about to take control of the assets of Equity, another company comes to say the properties belong to them due to an earlier sale by Equity to them. Equity engages this solicotor who he has become familiar to negotiate this third paty's claim. The solicitor negotiated suceesfully, so Equty and the third psrty happily shared his fees. So to layman he got 3 set of fees, but they are for different transactions. If i go to foreign echange boot at the bank and buy 1000 dollars, they will seel to me at the selling rate and charge me fees. If i change my mind on the spot and say i dont need the dollars anymore, the will buy from me at the buying rate and make profit again. Will say they have charged me twice for a single transaction ? No there were two transactions.
