And what happens, if say, there is say, a war and each country that owns gps satellites, switches off its gps band for civilian use? Then your whole digital address system becomes useless without gps.
How can the address system of your country, exist by the mercy of another country?
That's why I will always trust only my physical house number, street, area etc address system. Nobody can switch it off.

I remember a few years back, there was the US turned off their civilian gps band for a short while, and there was confusion with anything that used gps, including surveyors etc. How can a whole country boast in an address system that another country can turn off with a switch. That is why no serious country will depend on a digital address system that is controlled by another country.

As far back as in the late 70s, Nigeria had a full working address system, with every house fully identified by street name and house number.
50 years later, more than half of all streets do not have names - what a shame.

Most of the street name signs erected more than 10 years ago are absent. It should not take the president, to remind the sleepy and lazy MCE's to replace them.

How will Nigeria be able to digitise a place like Ajegunle or a floating city Makoko, a place that is the same as Nzulezu in Ghana?

Developing countries do not need decades of street-naming and postal rollout to get a working address system. QLS (Quantum Location Services) gives every building and place a unique digital address, then uses that address as the location layer for government, commerce, and daily life. The same platform now runs in the browser and in QLS Global on iPhone and Android.
Why this is a leapfrog
A Location Code by itself is not enough. It can mark a point on a map, but it does not give a country a working address system. QLS adds the engineering around that code — structured digital addresses, search and directions, PingMe, last-mile delivery, tourism, emergency dispatch, land and tax, and civic services — so governments can leapfrog years of street-naming and postal rollout. Countries turn on only the services they need, and add more as they grow.
Key components
Digital Addressing — unique, searchable addresses and Location Codes for homes, shops, and landmarks
PingMe — share a live map pin and Location Code from the phone so someone can find you now
Last Mile Service — QLS Logistics for couriers, hubs, and pickup points that can reach addresses that used to be “undeliverable”
Tourism — attractions, stays, and tour routes that visitors can find and navigate without local knowledge
Emergency & public safety — law enforcement, EMS, fire, and disaster response on the same address layer
Land, property, and tax — survey, registry, bills, and Mobile Money collection
Civic services — permits, business registration, utilities, waste, census, health, education, and community mapping
Get QLS Global
Website: www.quantumloc.io · Get the app: www.quantumloc.io/get-app
App Store · Google Play
Search a place. Get a Location Code. Share a pin. Deliver, collect, and serve from the same address.
