They never acknowledge that the small footbsll nations are now a better side. Negeria's coach just admitted Equatorial Guines was a better side going down by 3 nil. It took foreign coaches to qualify Ghana to Afcon for over 6 years after the Buake debacle in 1986. It was not until 1992 that the team qualifed for Senegal 1992 and becane runners up to Cote D'Ivoire. After then under local coaches the team started declining until 2005 under Serbian coaches and to the World cups. Under local coaches Akwasi Appiah and co the decline started again 2014 till date. A coach without competent backroom staff will amount to nothing.

Only policy and greed has driven Ghana soccer down. Also the hijacking by pseudo soccer businessmen,who have changed the gfa construction to suit their whims and caprices,its not Okraku alone. The whole executive committee and management team are complicit. The way forward as I see it is for the government and stake Holders to take charge of all national teams and let the gfa run the local league. It can be done.
