This rating is too generous. To me, no player scored 3 points and the coach scored 2.1. With this show I recommend that the GFA and the national teams should be disdolved for 20 years.

The only claim you can rightly make is that their absence has made NO DIFFERENCE to the loosing streak - but remember this is the first time in a very long time that the Blackstars went 2 GOALS UP above the opposition. So these player selection was better than recent selections. The problem we saw today is lack of team confidence and mentality to carry through a game to victory. It is rather evidence that we need young players selected on merit, young and confident. We need to also work on the local football scene to complement our senior football.

Why did the coach listen to local coaches and comentators to field local players and changed Ati Zigi for Asare. Same happened to Adam Kwarasey, one loss in the opening game to USA ended his international career by Akwasi Appiah after fielding Daniel Opare at RB. After the loss he said he reserved the experienced players to bring them in when the USA was tired. Gideon's in his post match interview blamed the loss on inexperience of the new players something Jordan has been complaining off. This means lack of confidence within the playing body not trusting collective delivery. After collecting the cup for four times every other nation wants to make a mince meat of Ghana and the team capitulated. It happened to the team before Burkina Faso, Togo, Comoros, Zimbabwe etc. Today the scorpions have stung the team's complacency, pride, lack of urgency. These days our junior national teams are not even qualifying. But this one is like a national disgrace and disaster akin to the Boake debacle. Ghana could not qualify for Afcon for over 6 years running. We are getting worse and worse Sports Ministers from Nii Lante, Asiamah, Mustapha, Kofi Adams etc. Future presidents should learn lessons to appoint experienced and mature people to handle national affairs going forward.Up coming nations are more hungrier to make names for themselves.

It will only take a Spaniard coach to put our football in order. Spanish coaches are the best in the world and we must target them.
