You think Semenyo and Kudus alone can carry a team. You see this is what the average Ghanaian doesn't understand. We just don't have quality players. If you can't field at least 1 decent goalie, 1 quality defender, 2 or 3 quality midfielders and 1 quality striker, your team is ordinary or even below par. We just don't have quality players anymore. It doesn't matter who the coach is.
We need to restructure and modernize our whole football and sporting infrastructure. These countries that are beating us are simply doing a better job developing and investing in the game, whereas we are hanging on to old glory which most Ghanaians were not even alive to witness it anyway. No one is going to give us shit because of our name. We have to earn it like everyone else. Look at Brazil. Nobody is given them respect anymore. The heydays when you say Brazil and people jump are long gone. This is a new era, nations have caught up, so you have to reinvent yourself or else GET LOST!

The ineptitude of our FA is slowly eroding the great gains of our hard working government. The embarrassment is too much. We are wasting taxpayers money to pay a foreign coach every local Ghanaian coach can do better than what he is doing. The best way out is that the government should step in, dissolve the GFA( FIFA may sanction us but that is alright). The government should then appoint ex-footballers with administrative/management acumen to supervise the rebuilding of Ghana soccer with active restructuring of Colts soccer in all cities in the country. Then develop under 17, 20, and 23 soccer. We then need equity audit team to access performance for recommendations. Let's give ourselves 3 to 5 years and we will be fine again. This will even create stronger confidence in government to win the next elections. The current FA should also be thoroughly audited and be prosecuted if found guilty to serve as a check to others. God bless our Homeland Ghana and raise visionary and exceptional leaders.

We don't put all the blame on the coach because he didn't have enough time to access these players. The once he knew already we're all sidelined because of injuries. So some of these players, the coach didn't even know. But being professionals, they should have put their experience in their respective teams into play. This is a shame and disgrace and there's no mathematics going to save us. We have already been eliminated from AFCON 2027, it's as simple as that.
