This is real things fall apart and the center certainly cannot hold. Elsewhere there will be mid term elections. Ghana has completely decided to envelope.

May I know if this is a nationwide or only in the cities and towns where the cameras are available? How many cameras are available even on Kumasi-Accra road in order to pick careless drivers?

In short: traffic cameras are used/mounted/fixed at ONLY WHERE IT IS NECESSARY to do so. This is determined by the time of day, traffic situation of the location i.e. how busy that place is, how high is the accident statistics, busy pedestrian zones, in the vicinity of schools and kindergartens, dangerous crossings / junctions and many others.
Note that the cameras need not be fixed. On highways (lie Accra-Kumasi rd.), the cameras may be MOBILE (mounted on dashboards in civilian wagons but police team) and record the traffic situation of all vehicles in front of the detection team.
Within city, they may be mobile, fixed-moveable, fixed or the police will hide behind some object and point the device on incoming vehicles. I have been caught 4 times wit the last method.....

This TRAFFITECH-GH is highly recommended. The idea behind it is terrific and it supposed to help road safety regulations. The big question is.....Is it going to be free from corruption from Almighty Police Service? In Overseas, we see the same thing. You drive through Red Light, the camera captures the car, and they send it to you. You can't deny it because your car is sitting right there in the picture with your number plate. You don't pay cash to anyone. You pay either by credit card, bank card or you send a check. Very effective and beautiful. But in Ghana, the Police can do and undo anything. The money can go to wrong hands. They can wipe off any image from the camera, while collecting the money into their pockets. So the government has to be very very vigilant in its implementation as it will safe lives and reduce the number of accidents we have on our roads.

The Police need to make sure that road signs and speed limit signs are put up to make sure we know what the speed limits are on each road.
They have a lot of work to do before implementation.
