I remember teaching at what has now become SDA Teacher Training University. Akuoko Gambia who always lobbied to be the PTA Chairman became more like the PRESIDENT OF ADMISSIONS. He laised with the Principal and Students were admitted based on who could pay very high PTA dues besides the official one. People who doubt me can go to the school to ask. Yes, and he and the clique of the PTA always were taking advantage of the young pretty ones.
Ghana has now got Free Education thanks to Akuffo Addo. PTA should not be a compulsion. It should be an association. It cannot impose fees on people who are not members. Mahama, tighten your Gloves and put a stop to this PTA nonsense. Should people be forced to be members of any association? Mahama. Put your feet down else this will go against the success of your administration.

I have been a Professional Teacher in Ghana for years and know how the PTA Levies were imposed on students. Yes. And I know how female students and parents who could not pay had to do so through sex. Yes. I know what Akuoko Gambia and Yaw Barima who was the School Lawyer were doing to female students. I remember a young pretty lady who was called Louisa who was taken advantage of by Yaw Barima who was old enough to be the daughter of this young pretty girl. We have no PTA at the Universities but students go to school. People should never be forced to join any association and pay fees. In Uncle Sam's country and the Western World, PTA exists but nobody pays any fee to become members.
