Nkrumah's attempts to introduce Socialism to Ghana and encourage African countries like Guinea, Kenya, among others to do same spelt his doom and the bankruptcy of Ghana. When he was overthrown, Ghana was on the brinks of bankruptcy. No Western Country was prepared to give loans to Ghana for any developmental projects.
Nkrumah had become arbitrary and gaoled his Political Opponents into his Nsawam Murdering and Concentration Camp. Yes, it became his butchery where those who were his his beneficiaries were imprisoned to death. Even K.B Danquah who was tortured there was going blind but was not released.
