That's one side of the story. The other side is also alleging that the rider was murdered by the police. This is the second time the police have allegedly murdered civilians in the Wa West district. The first was murdered in the police custody. In all these cases, the police are the very people conducting the investigation and your guess of the outcome may just be as good as mine.

In as much as we appreciate the good works of the police, some of the officers act in ways that makes reading stories like this difficult to understand. In my area kpandai for instance there are officers that will delay people just because the individual did not carry his motor bike registration documents with him. They ask for money and if you did not comply they will delay you until they are sure you don’t have the money. Some people run from the police not because they have anything unlawful but because they don’t want to waste their time. I think the government should help the police turn their attention towards crime prevention than the police going after criminals. If there is a road traffic offense the offender should be made to pay the fine to the government and not to the police. Some of the officers because they make a lot of money from these small offense from motobike riders they will by all means want to chase after them when the bikers try to escape putting their lives at risk.

One of my nephews who was of my age did not sweep his allocated portion and I decided to whip him.
When I held him he was hot and shivering. I took the broom, sweep the plot and told him to go into the classroom.
