The same could be done through last minute insertion of third term presidency and the abrogation of banning the current president from contesting. NPP should not count a referendum to stop the manipulation as all sorts of coercion could be adopted. So far this current govt is making nonsense of our laws as it can set free its corrupt party as well as violent/insulting members while prosecuting members of the opposition. It's unfortunate that Ghana's democratic institutions and credentials have been dragged into the mud within just one and half years.
By the way why aren't all major stakeholders including members of the opposition and identifiable bodies who contributed towards the current Constitution are not being involved. There's something diabolical planned by the govt to entrench its party in party forever
