I like the approach of the Attorney General office that they won't oppose any bail application, however it is the duty of the court to make sure that it put strict measures in place for the defendants to appear before the court any day any time the court want the defendant.
The AG should leave that burden on the Trial judge- that the AG would respect the decision of the court, however if the defendant did not come to court and absconded , the court and the Trial Judge must use the same judicial powers for granting the bail to produce the defendant for the trial to go on to it final decision of the court .
