I have read the push by the President to have Ghanaians own a car through car loans. I respectfully disagree with the approach for the folliwng reasons:
Accra and other region regions in Ghana are already choked with cars.
The roads in Ghana are not good and this approach will create further congestion.
Think about too many cars on the raod and the environmenatl impact resulting in health problems and concerns for citizens
I beleive that goverment will be served well in embarking on public transit system that will also help the most impacted and the needy.

We need less cars on our roads. What we really need is dedicated one way bus lanes that can substitute for a rail network in the citys, driven by private sector through affordable loans and aggressive monitoring.
This will ease traffic, cut our fuel import bill and make the city more pleasant.
