To be sincere, it is not truly worth it to manufacture, if you cannot do mega-production. Chinese companies can produce anything very very cheap because they produce in the billions and at extremely low production costs.
Example: I designed a system and wanted to produce it (buying the parts from different shops) at a cost of 25.00 per piece. Then I checked on TEMU and found out that the ready-made product was selling at 3.00 per piece (incl. postage, tax ...)
What all of you can do is join resources and form a single, big manufacturing company, with each of you being shareholder with equal number of shares. The more you are, the better. With such a factory you'll be able to produce and consequently sell much cheaper than you're doing now.
I still doubt, if you could produce cheaper than the Chinese though because you'll still depend on them for your raw materials and they won't sell the material too cheap for you to beat them.
