I don't know why it's difficult to trace his family once they know his name, date of birth and nickname.

Even if the poor man had fallen out with his family,do you know the exact circumstances surrounding any such alienation. I am aware of at least half a dozen cases of Ghanaians living abroad for many years who over the years have watched their relationship with extended family back home in Ghana become broken. In most of these cases, relatives in Ghana had either scammed or taken advantage of their well- meaning,kind-hearted relative living abroad resulting in a serious and often permanent loss of trust. The relatives abroad lost money or assets due to the dishonesty of relatives or friends in Ghana. SADLY THIS IS A RATHER COMMON OCCURRENCE.

Working yourself to the bone abroad to support family back home is a heavy burden, especially when they have no idea how much you are quietly suffering. If our leaders had managed Ghana's God-given resources responsibly and built sustainable structures for future generations, none of us would be forced to flee our homeland. We shouldn't have to endure hardship in foreign lands, where far too many young Ghanaian men are tragically dying alone in their rooms.

Very true. Unfortunately most relatives living in Ghana haven't the slightest idea what enormous sacrifices relatives abroad endure in terms of isolation, loneliness, emotional deprivation especially if they are without a family and also the abuse and discrimination they constantly suffer. It is this high cost Ghanaians living abroad pay emotionally and financially that frequently results in many eventually minimising or even breaking contact with many relatives back home when they are scammed, deceived or taken advantage of. Often they then become targets of malicious gossip, reputational damage at the hands of relatives and so-called friends. There is no damage like that caused by those closely related to you. Still many continue to support family in spite of these problems.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs should check their passport data if he holds a Ghanaian passport. They could also check from NIA in case the deceased has a Ghana Card.
