Even if the money was used for NSC operations it is still against financial regulations. However, the prosecution said the money in the private account was disbursed on private acquisitions. And the evidence of payment to other entities (for the private acquisitions) have been shown in court.
So, will it not be best for the defense to bring in Israeli company to give evidence they have received all $7m?

Plus, if the items were purchased and were present at the office or wherever they're supposed to be for all to see, what's the need to acquire a copy of receipt from Israel. The inference that everybody will draws is that your client didn't purchase the security items. To me, the attorney general office doesn't have to call the company to testify for the state, once they have established that Adu Boahen didn't buy the items. If Atta Akyea feels the company can help them acquit his client, he can call the company to testify. Don't waste your breath Mr. lawyer, the judge will rule on the authenticity of the document!
