How many of these kind of councils are we going to have as a nation? Not long ago a similar council was inaugurated with Togbe Afede as a member. Do we really need all these institutions for the economy to prosper? Bureaucracy after bureaucracy leads no where. Not even the United States of America with a vast economy has all these state institutions to manage their economy. Our problem lies in the lack of discipline in the public sector coupled with corruption and
lack of accountability and not the lack of a council to oversee the finances and activities of the public sector.
