Senegal without resources are far ahead of us. They started using "BRT" about 5 years ago. The lanes are separated from the main roads by decorated, beautiful iron bars.The buses are powered by electricity.Their metro system ... read full comment

It won't work. Lets stop the commedy. Move these ayalolo buses to other cities outside Accra. Places like Cape Coast, Koforidua, Taadi. In those places, they can make a huge difference to the lives of people.

Accra needs an urban rapid transit system. TRAINS. Surface trains. This is what Accra and Kumasi needs. Let's invest in it. It will cost billions of dollars. Yes. But it will transform the country. Imagine if there was a train system, reliable, connecting Tamale to Kumasi to Accra. Then Another one connecting Aflao to Accra to Takoradi. Imagine what that would do to our economy.
Our leaders are not thinking. Stupid things are what they focus on.
