More people sign up , assets grow and the increased profits offset the "opportunity" cost. The same strategy is applied by credit cards companies. 0% fees, knowing very wll that this is to entice customers and beef up profits elsewhere to offset the loss of revenue from the fees' charges.

Even a large year end cash balance in the midst of serious infrastructure deficit in our schools from nursery to tertiary institutions means the administrator and the board are at sea and don't know where they are and what is expected of them,but it is what it is because the administrator is not answerable to the MoE but rather to the MoF,a 'nice' arrangement under a clueless President,example of why Ghana is going nowhere.
