The ways of some of these tv people may not be very tidy, but they are playing important role in resolving some domestic issues. Many erring parties straighten up when they are placed in front of tv cameras and their cases can't stand proper scrutiny. Other uncompromising parties turn around and compromise for peace. The effect of being scrutinised publicly has some great effect on many people. I'm not a fan of such programs but they are doing some quite good job. Perhaps, they need to be helped tidy things up a lot more. These have become more like ahenfie court on tv.
