Black princess defender Alex Tay says the team is motivated and ready to compete at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.
Tay, who is making her second appearance at the tournament after featuring in Colombia in 2024, says her previous experience taught her the importance of taking the competition one game at a time.

The centre-back says she hopes to bring composure, communication and organisation to the team as Ghana targets progression from the group stage and a deep run in the tournament.
“We’re going to make you proud,” Tay said, as she called on Ghanaians to continue supporting the team throughout their World Cup journey.
