Growing up, the Supreme Court was known for determining very critical high cases. The belittling of the Supreme Court was so much seen during Akuffo Addo's time where fowl, goat, plantain, banana and cassava cases were sent to Supreme Court for adjudication. Some of us became very worried for the future of the Supreme Court and Ghana.

In order for these interim /applications applications not cause a delay there need to be many panels of the Supreme Court sitting simultaneously to decide such appeals/applications. Having about 20 members of the Supreme Court is one way of addressing this problem.
