Mr. Boamah,
Where is your pride and dignity and patriotism as a Ghanaian? Are you that cheap? Why must you oppose everything government does for the sake of opposition? Why do you want to disentangle the South Africans so easily from the crimes they committed against fellow Africans? I thought you were arguably the most objective and level headed NPP MP but I'm disappointed in you on this one.

Don't be ignorant or better yet do not forget to have your head on, Hon Patrick Yaw Boamah, if you decide to offer commentary on diplomatic issues.
Can you, Hon Patrick Boamah, tell readers the precise cost to the Ghana government for SA's xenophobic activities? I expect you, Hon Patrick Boamah, to not act like a beggar or hungry wolf that refuses to use the head and become a victim of circumstance. If the government of Ghana has not had time to provide complete cost figures, how and why can it accept money which cheapens Ghanaian life (for lives lost) and may undervalue the labor and property.
Don't forget, MTN continues to make profit from subscribers in Ghana while the reverse is the SA ideal.

@Frankie, MTN though is a foreign it has
become a Ghanaian entity, it’s investment is
tremendous in that, it has created investors with
their own employees, aside the company itself. MTN
pays taxes, the employees pay taxes also. The
numerous employees have purchasing privileges
and power to contribute to the economic growth
and development of Ghana. MTN is a brother
and a sister to Ghana. Why then does the
Government of Ghana refuse their help or support to
reduce Ghana’s burden of repatriating refugees
from South Africa ? Ghanaians did not think well
and does the government of Ghana know it ?
This is a sad episode. Honourable Boamah I
have earlier twitted about the iltreatment
of MTN and very disgraceful. MTN is not the
Government of South Africa who instituted the
Expulsion of the foreign nationals from their Soil.
