Academic freedom was lost the day political parties took over student leadership: SRC, NUGS, JCRs etc. Then the appointment of VC, Deans etc all compromised. We witnessed NAPO and KNUST battle, NAP and UG battle resulting in decapitation of VCs. Akufo Addo was just terrible for Ghana. He set horrible precedents that destroyed all institutions. Kennedy Agyapong the Crook, had the loudest blow-horn advocating that only NPP members deserve jobs in Ghana.
