Instead of teaching these children to chew and pour, it is time to now focus on a competition of ideas and robotics.
All these quiz ideas are from the West where they keep updating them while we follow, follow and expect to catch up.
Let's set child's on a path of intuition and innovation by challenging them to build rather than continue to learn and recite.
Even if we have to pay foreign teaches from the East to teach our schools robotics and creating industrial equipment.

Most of the people condemning this NMSQ program makes me feel that they didn't do well in school or just average students in their time. Do you know how many NMSC competitors irrespective of their schools that are doing it big in our country and abroad, go ask the 6 formers in the 80's who were taking 20 or more subjects yet still did very well. It was all memorization and application of these theories and knowledge. Comparing our school curriculum to that of China of course won't be the same cos we have some leaders who don't think of innovation, they think more of acquiring properties and money. Kwame Nkrumah tried to bring nuclear power to help in the country's power shortage back then, today those nuclear towers and equipment are been abandoned. At least he made an effort, all these innovation starts from somewhere but unfortunately a lot of these leaders are not stepping up. Churches and Mosques everywhere, I think we have innovation in religious studies. Leave the NMSQ program alone, it helps to prepare the students. Maybe you don't see it or know, and that's where you need to do your research on the previous NMSQ contestants status today. The answer St. Augustines student gave was the right one about the brain membrane protecting the outermost layer. It's a disgrace for the two schools to walk out, pride is a factor. They should be suspended for sometime.
