Some transport operators have increased transport fares and this is not only during peak hours.

Do we even have leaders in Ghana? Transport terminals in Old Tafo and Tech Junction, Kumasi, have already increased their fares. From Tafo to Ejisu (from 10.80 to 13.0); from tech to medoma (from 7.50 to 10.00). All these MMDCEs are sitting comfortably in their offices and watching these drivers exploit passengers. They are always quick to increase fares but reluctant to reverse them. When there was a directive to review fares, they never adhered to it. Leaders need to, at times, present themselves as ordinary citizens and join the masses in various locations and places to see things for themselves for proper decision-making.
