Do we even have leaders in Ghana? Transport terminals in Old Tafo and Tech Junction, Kumasi, have already increased their fares. From Tafo to Ejisu (from 10.80 to 13.0); from tech to medoma (from 7.50 to 10.00). All these MMDCEs are sitting confortable in their offices and watching these drivers to exploit passengers. They are always quick to increase fares but relunctant to reverse it. When there was a directive to review fares they never adhere it. Leaders need to at times present themselves as ordinary citizens and join masses in various location and places to see things for themselves for proper decision-making.
