They know that the cost they are referring to is an economy policy related cost to stabilize Ghana's economy and win the country off borrowings. They are doing everything possible to discredit the Goldbod and the BoG policy so the country will continue to be perpetually dependent foreign lenders and grants. The cost is clearly stated in the financial statement of both Goldbod and BOG. Why are they not taking the narratives as audited by the auditors of BoG and Goldbod. Where does the World Bank and IMF record cost of policy interventions that they give to support distress economies.
How much is the World Bank and IMF making from the loans they give to Ghana and other African countries? They charge us interest and processing fees so they have all the motivations to keep African countries perpetually dependent on them.
Ghana should not mind them. Unfortunately, 'illiterate' Afenyo Markings and the NPP have become puppets to IMF and world bank to tanish the good work of Goldbod. If we can hold on to the Godbod monopoly over gold export for the next 4 years, Ghana will be OK. It comes as no surprise to me that all of you have simply forgotten the enthusiasm when the lie of God's hand in the election victory of Akufo-Addo/Dr Bawumia was narrated by NPP leaders like trained circus entertainers.
Prior to ex-president Akufo-Addo nominating Gertrude Torkornoo as CJ to the Ghana SC was Hon Afenyo-Markin not practicing law and a member of the NPP as an MP? Can you or anyone remember when Hon Afenyo-Markin started acting like the "king kong" of Ghana's political jungle? The timing should tell everyone that but for the corrupting symbiotic relation between Gertrude Araba Essiaba Torkornoo as the CJ and her puppet/sidekick Hon Afenyo-Markin's direct line to Ms Torkornoo to sway all court decision in favour of the NPP, the NPP would be but an opposition party while Hon Afenyo-Markin remained just another MP.
What saddens me the most is that good, honourable and principled Ghanaian lawyers who practice law and court justices have all been brow-beaten by the shameless Gertrude Torkornoo and hon Afenyo-Markin to join the animal kingdom existence. It is not coincidence that Hon Afenyo-Markin who star shines no more at the GBA or in parliament continues to promise the installation of Gertrude Torkornoo to the CJ post should the NPP become the majority governing party.
HE John Mahama has not destroyed Ghana but has tried his damn best to walk back the excesses of the failed NPP government of Akufo-Addo/Dr Bawumia. The shame of the status of the Ghana Judiciary is that, judges and lawyers who practice their craft with NPP ideological leanings may have fogotten that with Hon Afenyo- Markin advocation of government and governing by retribution and intimidation Ghana and Congo will forever be tied as the 2 African nations with development and advanced natural, minerals and human potential but for the idiocy of tribal and political pied-pipers who led the nation into the sewers.
