Member of Parliament for Effiduase, Dr Ayew Afriye, has urged members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region to set their personal interests aside and rally behind the party ahead of the 2028 elections.

He believes that with a united and solid front, the NPP can convince Ghanaians that it is ready to regain power and govern the country in the right direction.

“The Ashanti Region remains the engine of our party. I call upon party faithful across all levels to recognise the need for us to unite for victory in 2028. The collective good of the NPP must supersede all individual interests at this moment.

“Securing victory for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP in the 2028 presidential election demands the active contribution, talent, and dedication of both the victors and those who did not prevail in yesterday’s contest,” he said.
