Presidential Staffer Bridget Otoo has taken a swipe at KFC Ghana following its just-ended GH¢15 promotion.
On August 15, 2026, KFC rolled out its highly anticipated GH¢15 promotion to commemorate its 15th anniversary, attracting large crowds to its branches across Accra.
In a series of videos making waves online, tensions were seen escalating at some branches, with staff reportedly spraying water on sections of the crowd in an attempt to disperse them.

Reacting to the videos, Bridget Otoo, in a post shared on X on August 15, 2026, expressed disappointment with the company over what she described as outright disrespect towards its customers.
According to her, KFC should have anticipated the large turnout that such a promotion would attract.
She argued that spraying water on customers who had queued to purchase food was disrespectful and unacceptable.

The presidential staffer further questioned why the company appeared surprised by the number of customers who turned up for the promotion, adding that KFC should apologise to those affected by the incident.
“Why would you run a promo for food at 15 cedis and be surprised at the huge numbers that showed up? To make matters worse, you resort to spraying water to disperse them. That’s outright disrespectful! @KFC_Ghana, your customers deserve better!” she wrote.
