Examples are the number of marathons he claimed to have been run in about 1 month. Also, his speech delay till 10 or 11 years has been contested. He claimed there worked as a volunteer in Brazil, this has been denied by the alleged host organization. There has also been numerous academic forgeries to his Prof/PHD. So though racially he may have had bad experiences from whites, some of the problems he had were, sadly occasioned by himself.

They understand everything one will say in Twi but they are left to be fluent in the language. We can't keep blaming the white man for being racist. We know very well we are all the same. An ewe people will not want an akan person as their tradition leader and vice versa. We prefer each other over another tribe in Ghana, so if we as same black people living in Ghana find differences, why do we blame a white man for wanting the same? Yet still in our discourse, many of us have relocated to the same racist folks countries knowing very well what is at stake. We prefer to live in their mist rather than our own country but still complain about their behaviour. Think of what is happening in South Africa: leave if you feel you will be treated better by your folks, but we still find reason to continue living abroad. Once you've made that decision, remember no one owes you the duty to soothe your emotions. Toughen up, build your confidence and rub shoulders with them. Show that you are capable and you will get the respect. If you're challenged, you can beat your chest and stand up high because you know you're capable. When you're chosen because they're trying to make a representation for diversity, equality and inclusion, the question remains of the person's aptitude to the role and it is fair question. What hasn't helped this man is the fact that maybe, he made some claims which cannot be verified, and which may have contributed to the position he held. Now the issue of his vulnerabilities throughout life has come to light, and the question is why do you bestow such responsibilities on a such a person? Being a professor requires a lot more than just praises but rather resilience. May he rest in peace.

We prefer and favour members of our tribes in many aspects of life, at the expense of other groups; from employment, housing/rent, marriage, national elections etc.
If people of the same race/ethnicity have such harmful prejudices and views towards one another, how could the same people expect any different from people of a different race/ethnicity who have little to nothing in common with them? Those who cry racism and turn a blind eye to its equivalent here at home are either hypocrites or delusional.
Finally, if anyone or thing is to blame for this man's suicide, it's himself and the institution/policy (DEI) that allowed him to swindle his way into a position that he clearly hadn't earned. From the unverifiable ggrandiose claims in his CV to the different works of others that he presented as his own(plagiarism). It's clear that he was unfit for the position and yet, the same "racist white supremacist" elevated him to that position and ignored his deception until they were forced to face the truth. Nobody hounded him out of anything, he messed up and had to go.
