We are always paying or clearing road contractors arrears over the past 50 years, yet we have no roads, bad roads or roads that last for 5 years, that is insanity. Also, why do we have roads, build roads in Ghana with the gutters not covered, how can we agree a road contract and exclude or not add building and covering the gutters to it, another foolish and sensenless behaviour by our leaders, acting like uneducated fools, choosing quantity over quality. All over Europe, their roads are built or contracted with the gutters covered, so why are our useless leaders, setting death traps across the country with our roads built with the gutters not covered, that is illegality, not acceptable, absolute nonsense to treat a population of 35 million this way, disrespectful. We are treated by our corrupt, useless and criminal leaders as orphans, slaves, when they are the people to serve us, our servants, how ironic can this be, it is only allowed to happen in Ghana, bullies, abuse of power as always.

One word @SA, Maintenance. We don't have this aspect of the developed worlds culture. I quite remember the pain and the struggle I went through when they were rehabilitating the N1 back in 2010-2012. My morning journey to work from Weija to Circle was 3 hours on a good day and my return home was around 5-6 hours, daily. Now look at the N1, most crash barriers are either missing or severely damaged to the point that they are useless to protect in a high speed accident or are hanging in the road( opposite Jayee jct heading to McCarthy hill lights), the entry and exit of the N1 at Mallan were death traps until some useless work was done recently. The simple words I have used to describe those we have put in positions of authority and whom collect a monthly wage to ensure they MAINTAIN these roads is, THEY DONT'T CARE.............
