One person has died and 14 others sustained injuries following a road crash involving a MAN Diesel truck and a Toyota Hiace on the Accra–Kumasi Highway at Bunso.

The accident occurred on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, near Paradise Restaurant at Bunso.

The GNFS disclosed the incident in a post on its Facebook page on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

According to the Service, the crash happened when the MAN Diesel truck reportedly veered into the opposite lane while attempting to give way to a Toyota Vitz.

Firefighters from the Bunso Fire Station were dispatched to the scene and assisted in rescuing the victims.

They also helped recover personal belongings from the vehicles and cleared the accident scene to facilitate the restoration of traffic flow on the highway.
