Applauds to the Governor for achieving over 13 billion dollars in reserve. These IMF people are pissed that our economy is improving and we won’t come to them again.

Applauds to who? These people have chopped Ghana’s money through the gold purchase program and you’re here saying we should applaud him. He has squandered our money.

IN THE SAME VEIN, ARE BEING PAID BY THE NPP TO CRITICISE THE GOVERNOR'S GOOD WORK?
YOU NPP DON'T KNOW HOW TO THINK. YOU THINK SPEAKING IS THE SAME AS THINKING AND THAT IS WHERE YOUR WEAKNESS LIES.

Yes, I find this report to be balanced, honest and well researched, reflecting the true state of affairs instead of the usual negativities meted out at Goldbod. We can all now have a sound sleep with the view that atleast something is working while acknowledging the fact that there's room for improvement. For heavens seek, NPP ought to be reminded that Goldbod is less than two years old and it's on the right path of find tuning it's activities. So all hands on board. Tnx.

NPP took the sovereign debt from 120 billion cedis to 726 billion cedis adding over 600 billion dollars in 8 years. 600 billion is about 37 billion dollars using 16 cedis to a dollar . Again, with 37 billion at the same 8 coupon rate, the country would have incurred 2.9 billion dollars as interest if NPP was still in power. Give credit where credit is due. Tnx.

According to the IMF, the transfer of the domestic gold purchases to the Goldbod marks a fundamental shift in strategy in the Ghana gold reserve policy
Without the Goldbod, the domestic gold purchase as started by the NPP was not fraught with mysterious policies that did not help fight currency depreciation, inflation, uncertainty in the market, and instability.
So the reason the NPP is so focused on the Goldbod is to undermine the very one POLICY they FAILED TO THINK OF AND IMPLEMENT EFFICIENTLY.
THEY CAN NOW SEE WHERE THEY FAILED AND HOW THE NDC HAS CAPITALISED ON THEIR FAILURE TO LIFT GHANA FROM THE DOLDRUMS THAT THEY SANK US INTO.
NPP HAS BECOME A JEALOUSY-INFECTED PARTY. THEIR TACTICS NOW IS DO ANYTHING, JUST ANYTHING TO WIN POWER BACK REGARDLESS THE MEANS.
