Dr Daniel A Wubah is a Ghanaian microbiologist, academic university administrator who rose through the ranks to become the 15th President of Millersville University, Pennsylvania, USA on April 18, 2019.

His academic journey began in Ghana as an alumnus of Accra Academy Senior High School and graduated from the University of Cape Coast with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Botany and a Diploma in Education.

He subsequently earned a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Akron and a PhD in Botany from the University of Georgia

His career has combined scientific scholarship with academic leadership, positioning him at the intersection of research, education and institutional development.

Beyond the university environment, Dr Wubah also holds a traditional leadership position in Ghana.

He is known in private life as Nana Ofosu Peko III, Safohene of the Breman Traditional Area in the Central Region.

Under his leadership, Millersville University has gained momentum and made significant strides towards becoming a more student-centred and values-driven institution.

He led the development and implementation of the university’s strategic plan, Tradition and Transformation, which set an ambitious path for the institution through 2025.
