There was an awkward moment during the celebration of the Mozano Festival, officially known as the Annual Peace Festival (Asomdwe Afe), at Gomoa Mozano in the Central Region when a queen mother fell from her palanquin.

According to multiple reports, the festival is a major religious and cultural celebration hosted by the Musama Disco Christo Church (MDCC).

The event attracts traditional leaders, including chiefs and queen mothers, who display their dancing skills while being carried in palanquins through the town.

During the procession, several traditional leaders were carried on palanquins as they showcased their dancing skills and enjoyed the festive atmosphere. However, the celebration took an unexpected turn when one of the queen mothers lost her balance and fell from her palanquin.

In a widely circulated video capturing the incident, the queen mother's carriers were seen moving around in jubilation and celebrating enthusiastically. Amid the excitement, the queen mother, who was sitting on the palanquin, appeared to lose her balance and fell into the crowd.

Although the fall briefly disrupted the procession, the festival activities continued as participants and spectators looked on.
